Madonna is hitting the fashion industry pavement again, but not alone! She has created a new company, "MG Icon" and has teamed up with her daughter Lourdes (Lola for short) to launch a junior line, "Material Girl"!
Madonna says that Lourdes has been into fashion for quite some time and has been influenced heavily by iconic fashion industry friends of Madonna (Stella McCartney, Gaultier, Dolce and Gabanna, Marc Jacobs...)
Material Girl has been created as an affordable clothing line for Juniors. Lourdes' inspiration comes from dance wear, European fashion, music, and as Madonna says "...of course, she is inspired by my closet."
The line will feature jeans, accessories, fingerless gloves, shoes and more. Material Girl will debut exclusively at Macy's (in-store and online) in time for the back to school Fall season.
